“This is my second Honda self-propelled mower. My first ran for over 15 years! It has plenty of horsepower, great mulching ability, easy to maintain, cheap to run and best of all, it starts the first time every time! Its a solid feeling mower with a 21″ blade. It fits my mowing needs perfectly. Oh, by the way, I’m a 66 year old woman.”

“This mower is a beast. Built a pool in the back and I have a VERY steep hill behind it now. VERY steep. Climbs right up it perfect. You just walk along with it. Very pleased with it. Plenty of power, easy to start, great packaging/ boxing. Great mower so far. Lots of power.”

“I enjoy mowing my lawn with this new mower. The electric start is wonderful for a person my age. (80) The [self-propelled] mower works real well, so much that my wife is helping me mow after 58 years of marriage. Yes, she likes helping me mow the lawn.”
-Amazon reviewer Paul Gibson
“I have had mowers which said they were self-propelled, but with any decent grade, I was always the one who would end up propelling it forward. This thing was an unbelievable surprise. I have some fairly steep grades to my lawn, and this thing just powered up them, and I didn’t even have to push a little. Super powerful, great suction for vacuuming the lawn during the Fall. I can’t complain about anything this thing does up to this point. Well worth the money. “

“Mower works great. This year starts my second mowing season, and the mower fired up on first pull. Like any other product you want to last, do the proper maintenance and this will last a long time (clean wet grass from blade/mowing deck after use, keep oil changed regularly, use fresh gas, etc.). The self-propel is not slow or fast, it feels like the perfect speed. “
-Amazon reviewer Chris Varner
“Positive – Product was easy to set up, it’s very light weight and quiet. Run time appears to be plenty. I bought the unit to help with my ditches that are too steep for my rider and it does that well.
Negative – They are smaller than a typical lawn mower, so expect to make more passes. I would also say the cut isn’t quite as good as a gas lawn mower. Likely from a lower blade spinning speed. I did have to do some spots twice, though it’s powerful enough that it cut through knee high weeds, so it has enough power.
Starting tip – Unlike a regular mower… push button first THEN pull handle back…”
